Hold onto that fruitcake, because things are about to get wild! Vancouver TheatreSports League presents Off-White Christmas, Vancouver’s holiday comedy improv show.

For a few of us the thought of Christmas conjures up sleigh bells and snowy evenings.  The real version, as we all know, is much CRAZIER.  Vancouver TheatreSports tells it like it is in this 90-minute spectacle.  Off-White Christmas opens on the scene of a squabbling family.  The turkey’s burning in the oven, and they’re starving!  As the family starts to feud, their chaos turns into a showdown –  in the form of classic TheatreSports games and short scenes.  In the second act the players break into a fully improvised musical, making one lucky audience member’s holiday wish come alive onstage. This is Christmas as it should be – a laugh a minute and everyone goes home in 90 minutes!

What’s so special about Off-White Christmas? The Vancouver TheatreSports League actors (aka Santa’s nasty little helpers)  use their humour, wit and skill to bring to life the hilarious, gregarious nature of the holiday season.  VTSL executive director Jay Ono sums it up: “The entire show is based on audience suggestions, so each show is a truly unique experience that reflects their holiday experience. YIKES!”

It’s the perfect Holiday interlude or group activity….or heaven forbid bring your family while you’re  still speaking to them.

Off-White Christmas opens Thursday November 14th 2011, at 7:30pm.  The show will run until December 23rd, Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm. Tickets from $8.75 to $21.  For more information and to purchase tickets online, visit www.vtsl.com.
