A standing ovation at the end of the wonderful live concert; and it all started with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra playing a piece from Mexico “Galindo”. Taking us on a journey throughout Latin America, Maestro Andrew Crust then went on and presented a couple pieces one from Brazil and another one from Venezuela. The first half of the concert then featured one piece by Sal Ferreras participating on maracas.

In the second half of the concert most of it featured Sal Ferreras and his sextet they played a couple of solo pieces which were vibrant and just had a very energetic can see that they’re excited to be there. The concert finished with two delightful pieces, the first from Argentina “Three Tangos” followed by a vibrant piece from Brazil “Vassourinhas” with the whole orchestra.
