For fans of JRR Tolkien’s Hobbit you are in for a real treat, and for everyone else who enjoys a good holiday show you are equally going to love this two-person adaptation of The Hobbit. Both actors (Tim Carlson and Peter Carlone) are set to carry JRR Tolkien’s epic across Middle Earth and they put on quite an exhilarating performance.
This reimagined production, adapted by Kim Selody with additional dialogue by Carlson and Carlone, condenses the epic adventure into an intimate yet dynamic performance. Audiences (over 8 years old as they suggest) can expect a fresh take on the classic story of Bilbo Baggins, whose peaceful life is upended when the good wizard Gandalf comes calling.
The Hobbit is now playing through to December 21 at the Pacific Theatre and you can get tickets here.
