I enjoyed the festive holiday singing Opening Night concert by the Vancouver Men’s Chorus. They featured many holiday hits as well as many songs that I hadn’t heard in past with Conductor Willi Zwozdesky.

There were 2 acts along with an intermission at this wonderful concert and I loved that we could all sing along to the tunes that we all knew. I also loved the full audience sing a long of “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” (word sheets provided to the audience).

Some of my favourite songs included “Deck the Hall”, “Recycle the Fruitcake” ,, “Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah” and “Sildent Night”. There was also a premiere performance of “Merry Christmas” by choir member David Browning.

I look forward to the next concert that the Vancouver Men’s Chorus puts on.
