Maya Sciarretta - Sugo Sauce
The other night I attended the launch of some new Tomato Sauces, it was actually the launch of Sugo Sauce, a new company founded by Maya Sciarretta and the event was held at Harvest Community Foods in Vancouver.
Authentic Italian tomato based ‘sugo’ (sauce) inspired by family recipes and handmade with love in Vancouver BC.
I had the opportunity to taste each of the 3 sauces first and then had 2 of the different sauces over the pasta, I had the Classico (basic tomato and basil) and Puttanesca which were both delicious.
