I chatted with Sir George V Fistonich today about his winery and his wines. He told me that he lives in Auckland, New Zealand while the winery operations are located around the country. His wines have been available in Canada for the past 20 years and his wines are also exported throughout the world.
For this year’s festival New Zealand and Argentina are the two theme regions of the festival, many wines will be showcased and poured throughout the festival.
Earl’s Paramount were once again the hosts for this kick-off event and their chefs created a number of appetizer sized dishes to pair the wines from New Zealand and Argentina.
